VEMHA has teamed up with Source for Sports and their Super Sport Program.

For over 10 years, Source For Sports has been awarding young hockey players across Canada through the Super Sport program.

Over 200,000 Tyke and Novice players aged 5 to 8 have participated in Super Sport, which focuses on sportsmanship, fair play, and most of all, having fun!

Super Sport recognizes each player for their individual effort and contribution to the team, both on and off the ice. Throughout the season, coaches present each player with a Super Sport award, and a voucher to pick up a special prize pack at their local Source For Sports store.

Here is the VEMHA’s Version of David vs Goliath as told by Dylan Lalonde of the Valley East JLM Crushers and Ben Couling of the Barrie Colts Red Team. Dylan Lalonde is playing the role of David in this picture. At VEMHA we are all happy that both boys enjoyed the game against each other and no slings were used during the match.

The Northern Sports Photography Crush say ‘Thank You’ to Jonathan Toews of the Chicago Blackhawks for the autographed jersey. With Toews’ help, our Novice team had a successful fundraiser allowing our young players the experience of participating in hockey tournaments and having fun!

Congratulations to the Lefrancois family – the lucky winners of the jersey!
